You don’t have to search very hard to find something to dispute, debate or argue today. People are free with their opinions and social media provides everyone with a platform. But in Romans, we’re shown a different way, where we’re to seek to live at peace with all men; that disputable matters aren’t worth arguing about. In God’s Kingdom, you are more important than my opinion.

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgements, and his paths beyond tracing out! The doxology in Romans 11 is a reminder that God is faithful to His people and promises. We may not be able to trace God’s path as He moves in our life, but we can trust Him because of his great faithfulness.

Romans 8:28 is one of the best known and most comforting verses in scripture, that God is at work in all things in our lives, working them for our good and His glory. Even when we can’t see it or believe it, He is at work, and because of that, we don’t get to declare a verdict or outcome over our lives. God has an eternal purpose for our lives that is written in the pages of Heaven.

The Apostle Paul, who was no stranger to suffering, tells us in Romans 8 that the suffering of this time, is not worth comparing to God’s glory that is to come. We can rest in that promise because we have received the Holy Spirit as a deposit of the future glory.
